Huawei E1732 Unlocking tutorial - Maximum positive feedback

Hey friends here is the simplest and easiest trick to unlock huawei e1732 (Idea netsetter 7.2 mbps). For the viewers who faced problems in unlocking huawei e1732 , here is an easy and effective technique and here you dont need to spend money for any USB (As you need in DC Unlocker). Here you just need two small softwares (Described later in post) and you just need to download it and follow some steps which is described later in post.



Huawei E1732 USB Modem is using e173du-1 hardware as shown in the above snapshot.

 # Download Firmware Downgrade for E1732




Must need requirements :


1. Firstly you need to disable antivirus of your system. (Because your antivirus will treat CDMA workshop software as a potentially harmful file and will delete it).
2. Download both files mentioned in the download needs.
3. Make sure that your modem is detected in your PC and PORT NUMBER should be noted by you where your modem is connected.
4. Now insert any SIM excluding idea.

Steps to Unlock Huawei E1732 Idea Netsetter :


1) Disable the antivirus till the unlocking process is finished.
2) Insert the modem in your PC.
3) Go to device manager (My Computer >> Properties >> Device Manager) >> Ports(COM & LPT) >> Huawei Mobile Connect - 3G Application Interface (COM[X]), 'X' is the port number appear in your system. Note down the PORT number.
4) Open CDMA Workshop v2.7.0.EXE.

5) Under the 'MAIN' tab select Port number(COM Settings(AT Mode)) Noted Earlier and click the connect button.
6) Now Click on Read Button.

7) Go to Security Tab> Type "oooooo" in the box Under SPC. Click on SPC button >> Send Button with default (nv_read) as SPC.

8) Now Go to 'Memory tab' in NV Items Section click to Read Button. A Confirmation box will appear just click Ok and you will see a NV items box.

9) In the Box 'Last NV' Item type '9999' Click Ok and save the file with any appropriate name.

10) Once the buffer reach 100% your file is saved . Now click Ok on the confirmation box.

11) Now open E1732 Firmware Downgrade(update) and run it and follow the steps and downgrade the firmware.

12) At the end of downloading programs, You will get an Update Failure error message Don't worry just click Ok and then finish.

13) Now Go to CDMA Workshop and on Main tab and click on Finish Button.

14) Unlpug your Idea Netsetter and then plug in again and find the port number as we did above.

15) Now Go to CDMA Workshop and select the Port, Then Go to 'Main' tab and click on connect.

16) Go to 'Memory' Tab Click on NV Items >> Write Button. Click Ok on Confirm Box >> Open dialog box will appear Now choose the file which you have saved before and wait till buffer reaches 100%.

17) An Information Dialog Box will appear as a success confirmation message.

18) Click Ok & Go to 'Main' Tab and click on 'Disconnect'.

19) Now close CDMA Workshop >>> Click No when a confirmation box appears.

20) Now close everything and enable your Antivirus. Now you are done with the Unlocking.
