Huawei Airtel Datacard E1731 Firmware Upgrade (Update Bharti Airtel Customized Firmware)

Hey friends i just found that now Airtel Datacards (Huawei E1731) Comes with Bharti Airtel Customized Firmware, So after unlocking also we can't use every SIM operator on it so you need to Upgrade or Downgrade this firmware. This is the only solution for this problem that is to upgrade or downgrade this firmware. The procedure to upgrade this firmware is the same as we do to upgrade other firmwares.

Downloads Required :


1. Firmware Update Download
2. Universal Master Code Download


Steps to Upgrade/Replace the Customized Firmware :


1. Firstly Download both the things as given in Downloads Required.
2. Now Open the Universal Master Code and Enter your IMEI & Calculate Flash Code and Unlock Code as shown below.

3. Now Plugin your Datacard in your Desktop/Laptop and let it load all its drivers.
4. Run the firmware update you have downloaded above.
5. Then it will search for the device and will ask for the code on the next screen.
6. Then complete the firmware installation on your Huawei E1731 modem.
7. You are done with the firmware update. :)

    It updates but does not ask for any codes. Firmware is now updated to latest version but device is still locked.

    Dude it will be unlocked as you update firmware of your modem (Huawei E1731) and then you can use any of SIM Operator.

    sPEED OF YOUR MODEM DEPENDS ON THE NETWORK YOU USE. YOU WILL GET LIMITED SPEED IN 2G AND IF YOU WANT MUCH MORE SPEED TRY 3G WITH A GOOD NETWORK. I PREFER BSNL.

    The link "firmfare update download" of e1731 goes to a mediafire link to download the E870Update_11.311.04.00.47.zip.
    It didn't gave the update for e1731.. Please upload the link for e1731..

    my modem have update process no asking for codes still update software but other sims not works the error becomes register network bwfore use i have try also manual settings

    Dude it converts your E1731 to e870.. this is the unlock trick to change the bharti airtel locked firmware.
